What’s it like to learn with Lingualia?

Learn with Lingu!

LinguLearning: a state-of-the-art method, developed over the last 12 months by education professionals, to revolutionise language learning.

I know, that sounds cool, right? Well, it is!

Are you fed up of having to become Mr./Mrs. Flexible to adapt to the courses or lessons that you’ve tried in the past? Sometimes, we don’t feel like coming to class, sometimes we get bored doing the same thing over and over again, sometime we want to progress a little faster

LinguLearning is the only online method that adapts to you! LinguLearning is designed to adapt the course content to your exact level. If you find you have a good base knowledge of vocabulary, but need to brush up on your grammar, LinguLearning automatically tailors the course helping you gain a deeper knowledge of the areas which need more work.

So, what if you don’t have a fixed schedule? That doesn’t matter! LinguLearning is available 24/7, even if you have just 10 minutes free per day. We guarantee that you’ll learn something new.

Each level is defined by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). What does that mean? Allow me to explain…

  • Understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases.
  • Introduce yourself and others, and ask and answer questions about personal details.
  • Interact in a simple way provided the other person talks slowly and clearly and is prepared to help.

  • Understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to areas of most immediate relevance.
  • Communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters.
  • Describe in simple terms aspects of your background, immediate environment and matters in areas of immediate need.

  • Describe experiences and events, dreams, hopes and ambitions and briefly give reasons and explanations for opinions and plans.
  • Understand the main points of clear standard input on familiar matters regularly encountered in work, school, leisure, etc.
  • Deal with most situations likely to arise while travelling in an area where the language is spoken.

Upper intermediate

  • Understand the main ideas of complex text on both concrete and abstract topics, including technical discussions in his/her field of specialisation.
  • Interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity that makes regular interaction with native speakers quite possible without strain for either party.
  • Produce clear, detailed text on a wide range of subjects and explain a viewpoint on a topical issue giving the advantages and disadvantages of various options.

Those are you goals, but how are you going to achieve them?
We’ve got what you need:

Unlike other online courses, Lingualia has hundreds of super simple grammar flashcards. No more scratching your head wondering, “Now what is a resultative adjective again?”.

Effortlessly expand your vocabulary with helpful definitions, phonetics, examples of use and audios to help you improve your accent. Never again find yourself making one of those all-too-familiar mistakes!

Useful, realistic dialogues to help you avoid the age old-problem of practising what you’re going to say over and over again, only to find you have no idea what the man has replied.
No more relying on the international hand signal for “Can I have the bill, please?” .

We understand the importance of great pronunciation which is why you will find audios to accompany all new words and phrases. And, we won’t lie to you to make you look stupid like some other online services might!!  😉
